Winnin Ugly
Just finished Ron Kittle’s book, "Winnin Ugly.’ I tip my cap to Kittle. The book reflects upon Kittle’s recollection of the 1983 White Sox as well as moments of his career. His ramblings are often humorous, but his dedication to charity and overcoming his injuries are estimable. Few players have ever played the game with his commitment.
Although his career was less than stellar, Kittle is a hero to many. I have always admired him and after reading his book, even more. He also recently added to my autograph collection. Thank you Mr Kittle.
