Added this unique baseball to the Fenway Collection recently. The Boston Red Sox didn’t make their fans wait another 86 years for the team’s latest World Series Championship. Rather, Boston claimed their second Championship in four years by beating the Colorado Rockies, and they did so in style, as the Sox swept the Rockies four games to none during the 2007 World Series. This Game Used Baseball from a game played on June 29, 2007 against the Texas Rangers has been hand signed by 23 members of the 2007 WS championship team. Those that signed include; Luis Alicea (Coach), Alex Cora, Manny Delcarmen, Jacoby Ellsbury, John Farrell (Coach), Eric Hinske, Jon Lester, Javier Lopez, Mike Lowell, Julio Lugo, Dave Magadan (Coach), Doug Mirabelli, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia, Manny Ramirez, Kyle Snyder, Mike Timlin, Kevin Youkilis, David Ortiz, Jason Varitek, Josh Beckett, Terry Francona & Curt Schilling. Included is a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
Will be auctionng it soon.
Picked this helmet up at the Grey Flannel Auctions this week. Inside the dome is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s sticker with MLB hologram affixed. On the outer front is the Red Sox “B” sticker. On the back is the player number “33” sticker along with the official MLB sticker. The helmet shows excellent game-use with pine tar and extensive scuffing on top. Steiner Hologram #84082. MLB Hologram #675485 LH. This helmet is accompanied by a Steiner LOA.
I have already arranged the resale of this item to a private collector in NH.
